Oh that’s a tough one. I’ve been doing it since I was about 16, and I’m 22 this year!
I did the usuals like college, I did two years of Uni which for me, wasn’t worth the time or money but from the ages of 16-20 it’s hard for anyone to take you seriously, but keep at it.
In all honestly, I’ve mostly just kept taking photos. Keep working with new people, make contacts, branch out and grab every opportunity you can with both hands and your passion will get stronger. You need a drive to succeed, there is really no jobs in it and you have to want to work all hours you possibly can to get somewhere.
